Hi, I clicked the submit comment accidently:

continuing from above creation date: none, and so on. One of them says damaged in the status column. Not sure if that is the culprit, or if it is more than that. When I did the Adobe test for shockwave and flash player the test was fine. Everything came up in the animations.

If you have any thoughts I would greatly appreciate it at.

thanks, Megan

I had a question regarding your blog entry of Jan. 09-Computer Troubleshooting-Playing Flash videos on some sites. I am having that problem. Everything was fine and then I couldn't view some videos. As an example I can view youtube videos, but not the videos on MSN.com home page. I also belong to an educational training member site and I can view some of the videos, but not all of them. In addition, my daughter cannot view everything on Webkinz. There we get the security warning box that says do you want to install or run adobe flash player. When I close that I get another box that says "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flashplay 8 to run slowly......

My computer system is old. I have ME operating system, IE 6.0, and Flash Player 8.0.22.0. I'm not sure if the problem was caused by something with my Norton Internet Security 2005(there were a few days I was getting error message from something to do with Norton), or the other day I was taking an online survey and they said something about downloading the newest version or at least have 9.0. I clicked on a link that took me to Adobe I believe and I tried downloading. I knew that my operating system was probably not compatible, but I usually get a message saying this is not supported on this operating system. I did get that message, and that was it. The flashplayer installer was on my desktop and I got rid of it. Did not make a difference.

So I'm wondering if I goofed something up when I did that. I did go into Windows/Download Program Files(Activex Cache Foldr), and there are a list of Activex files with numbers, status: unknown, total size 32kb
